How It All Started...
Pastor Terry Painter and his wife Diana established Abundant Hope in 1997 because of their great love for the people of Bremerton and their strong desire to see lives changed through the power of the gospel. We initially met in Pastor Painter's home, before moving into the Gilberton Community Center in Brownsville a short time later. In 1998 we made our current building our home and our family has been growing ever since.

We want to be a force for the greatest good in our community, and there is no greater good than the life-changing message of salvation. At Abundant Hope we believe that everyone has the opportunity to be restored into a right and intimate relationship with God. As disciples of Christ and as a family united in one faith, we are striving to LEARN, LIVE, and TEACH the gospel.
Where We Are Headed...
Since its founding, Abundant Hope has impacted the lives of thousands of people with the gospel of Jesus Christ through outreach in our community and giving to national and global missionary efforts to spread the gospel.
